Clara and I had a little date while Jody was out at the Kaleo womens retreat on Friday. It including wearing hats and flip-flops to go get the mail, picking tomatoes, laying in an empty swimming pool in the yard, reading books, tickling, and of course… ice cream.

We got to go to Mike and Molly’s, our neighbors, wedding last Thursday. The wedding was done in Galveston down on the beach. It was a really nice wedding and fun time meeting some of Mike and Molly’s friends and family.
While we were out for the wedding, we stopped by Brandon and Heathers place up at the pass. We didn’t get to spend too much time with them, but it was really good to chat and go for a walk around Gold Creek Pond. The pond just across the highway from their place and has a nice walking path, wildflowers, and some beavers.
